Planet Mars Foundation:
Because every girl-child matters

An NGO based in Kallianpur, Udupi district, Planet Mars Foundation provides a safe home, quality education and all-round support to destitute and orphan girls. Established in 2016 by 15-year-old Rakshanda, a resident of the United Arab Emirates and a native of the district, PMF has grown into one of the best NGOs in Udupi for girl child education today.

Classical Music Concert

13-01-2019 - Our children's gave a singing programme at Manipal through Krishna Ganasudha Team.

Deepavali at PMF

08-11-2018 – The girls celebrated Deepavali along with the trustee and staff, with lamps and fireworks.

Personality Development

22-08-2018 Sister Lilly Pushpa conducted a Personality Development session for our girls, focusing on personal discipline and time management.

Karate Kids

06-10-2018 - Our girls participated in Karate competition at Rajangana Shri Krishna Mata, Udupi, and all of them won prizes.

Female Health & Hygiene

09-03-2019 - Members of ‘Connect the Dots’, Santhekatte, celebrated Women’s Day at PMF and gave an educative talk about ‘Menstrual Cycle’.

Road Safety

24-03-2019 – Members of AIESEC organized a Road Safety workshop for our girls and also educated them about First Aid.

Picnic Day

03-11-2018 – We organised one-day trip to different scenic locations close by to let the girls have some fun.

Dental Camp

15-01-2019 - Manipal College of Dental Science organized a free dental camp for the PMF girls.

Destitute girls in India are subjected to a number of social evils and adversities, like sexual abuse, domestic violence, child labour and often, a lifetime of extreme poverty. At PMF, we are striving to make a difference by giving them a safe and loving home, and access to quality education, while helping them explore their potential as individuals. Within the first five years, we plan to expand the PMF family to 100 girls in need, while also extending our support to at-risk women and senior citizens. Sponsor a girl child.
